Stephanie has been in the social work field since 2001 after graduating from Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. She earned a master’s degree from University of North Dakota in 2011. She is licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota. She has worked with all populations from birth to elderly in acute-care, home-care, and outpatient settings.
She is currently certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, PCIT, and Infant Mental Health. She is a trained clinician in PCIT-Toddler. She is accredited in Permanency and Adoption Competency and is a member of the MN Adopt therapist network. She has obtained a certificate in DC:0-5-diagnostics for mental health disorders in young children. She is ASIST-trained in suicide prevention.
She is a certified social work supervisor in MN and ND for clinical and non-clinical supervisees. Completing thirty hours of supervision training. She is a member of NASW.
Stephanie grew up in the Fargo-Moorhead community and has remained here ever since. She resides with her husband and four beautiful children. All of their children have joined the family through either domestic or international adoption from Africa. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, exercising and relaxing at the lake. Stephanie says she has a passion for the adopted child and helping those affected by trauma. "I am motivated in my practice to hear each individual’s story and walk their journey with them.”
